To boost the economy and increase employment possibilities, the federal government plans to overhaul the country’s steel industry.

When meeting with the leaders of the ministry’s agencies and departments in Abuja, Prince Shuabi Audu, the minister of steel development, said this.

According to Audu, Nigeria’s rich mineral resources are crucial to altering the country’s economic structure and bringing the advantages of democracy to every Nigerian.

“We can make sure that the benefits of democracy are felt by every citizen by utilising the steel industry’s untapped potential and directing it into profitable endeavours.

“Nigeria’s steel industry is a key pillar of the country’s economic expansion and has the ability to offer young people numerous work opportunities.

He stated, “To accomplish this objective, the administration is completely committed to putting into place a wide range of policies geared to attract reputable international businesses.

Every Nigerian, according to Audu, deserves to gain from democracy, and he said that one of the main principles of democracy is its capacity to advance people’s wants and ambitions.

He claims that the administration is unwaveringly committed to fostering a climate that will provide these benefits.

“The Federal Government is persistent in its efforts to draw investments. Its goal is to accelerate economic growth and provide its citizens more power by leveraging the potential of the steel sector.

“This is to make sure that the benefits of democracy are real and available to everyone,”
