In order to boost the country’s economy, the federal government promised to modernise the steel industry.
OBASANJO NEWS24 reports that Prince Shuaibu Audu, the minister of steel development, made this statement during a meeting with the heads of the ministry’s agencies and departments on Wednesday in Abuja.
He claimed that Nigeria’s rich natural riches are the key to changing the country’s economic structure and bringing democracy’s advantages to every Nigerian.
“By unlocking the steel industry’s hidden potential and directing it towards profitable endeavours, we can make sure that every person benefits from democracy.
“The steel industry is a key pillar of Nigeria’s economic development and has the ability to create a lot of job opportunities for young people.
He declared that “the government is fully committed to putting into place a wide range of measures intended to attract reliable international investors.”
