The charges were filed by the office of the Attorney General of the Federation (AGF) and accused Bodejo of contravening the Terrorism (Prevention and Prohibition) Act, 2022.

Upon being arraigned on Friday, Bodejo entered a plea of not guilty in response to the three-count charge leveled against him.

Subsequently, Justice Inyang Ekwo ruled that he should remain in the custody of the Defence Intelligence Agency (DIA) until further notice.

The trial proceedings are scheduled to commence on May 27, as decided by Justice Ekwo.

More details regarding the case are expected to be revealed in due course as the legal process unfolds.
