A few days after his birthday, Nollywood actor Murphy Afolabi died.
With news of Murphy Afolabi’s alleged passing, Nigeria’s film industry is once again in a grieving state.
The well-known Yoruba actor, 49, passed away this morning in his home.
On Sunday afternoon, veteran producer and director of motion pictures Tunde Ola-Yusuf announced his death on his Facebook page.
Please find peace. May God grant the family and close friends the strength to deal with the loss,” he added.
Exactly one week ago today, on May 5, the dead celebrated his birthday.
Under the direction of Dagunro, Murphy launched his career with the film “Ifa Olokun,” and he has since appeared in and produced a large number of other films.
