Unquestionably the highlight match of this year’s Federation Cup competition will pit reigning Nigerian League champions Rivers United against Enyimba FC of Aba, two-time winners of the CAF Champions League.

On Sunday, the “Pride of Rivers” will play host to Tanzania’s Young Africans in the first leg of their CAF Confederation Cup encounter in Uyo. After that, the match against Enyimba FC will serve as a preliminarily for the second leg in Dar es Salaam.
Akwa United FC was picked to meet Wikki Tourists of Bauchi in a major match, and Rangers International of Enugu will play Adamawa United FC in the draw that took place within the NFF Secretariat on Wednesday.
Kogi United will play Mailantarki FC of FCT, while Heartland FC of Owerri will play Jedo FC of Sokoto.
Wednesday saw the draw for the women’s Round of 32 matches, with Rivers Angels of Port Harcourt facing Golden Sun of Bayelsa State and Naija Ratels of the Federal Capital Territory facing Adamawa Queens.
On Wednesday, April 26, all of the men’s round of 64 matches and all of the women’s round of 32 matches will take place. The men’s competition has set the Round of 32 matchups for Wednesday, May 3, and the Round of 16 matches for Wednesday, May 10. On May 17, Wednesday, there will be quarterfinal matches.
The men’s and women’s grand finales will be held on Saturday, May 27, following the men’s and women’s semi-finals on Wednesday, May 24.
