A ruling by the Federal High Court in Kano has mandated the removal of Emir Muhammadu Sanusi II from the Kofar Kudu Palace. Additionally, the court has instructed the Police to ensure that all entitlements and privileges owed to the 15th Emir of Kano, Aminu Bayero, are duly granted to him.
Justice S. A. Amobeda, the Presiding Judge, issued the exparte order, emphasizing that it was necessary for the sake of justice and the preservation of peace in Kano state. The case has been scheduled for a hearing on the 4th of June.
