The FCTA has seized more than 20 vehicles due to the recent rise in security concerns in the capital.
In addition to this, the administration has provided guidelines on how private car owners can utilize their vehicles for taxi services without the need to paint them.

Deborah Osho, the Head of Operations at the FCT Directorate of Road Traffic Service (DRTS), made these statements during a crackdown on unauthorized taxi operators in Abuja.
Osho revealed that around twenty vehicles were confiscated during the operation, which targeted areas such as Area 3, Apo Interchange, and the Three Arms Zone.
She warned that drivers found in violation of the regulations would be prosecuted in mobile court proceedings.
