FCT High Court workers refuse to comply with NLC, TUC strike directive
Workers at the Federal High Court (FHC) in Abuja disobeyed the Trade Union Congress’ (TUC) and the Nigeria Labour Congress’ (NLC) strike directive on Wednesday.
The Abuja FHC was seen going about its regular business.
In the tall FHC building, judges, employees, lawyers, and litigants conducted their business without any difficulties.

There were about eight courts in session, same as Tuesday.
Nonetheless, an emergency meeting for all staff members was set for 11:00 am today, according to a notice of a Congress meeting written by the FHC’s public relations officer, G.A. Maku, and sponsored by the Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria (JUSUN).
The notification states: “This morning at 11 a.m., all staff members are expected to be in Ukeje Hall for an emergency meeting.
“Please let members know the union’s stance on the ongoing NLC strike action as well as other important issues. This meeting is noteworthy.”
