Before the late Nigerian musician Illerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, is buried, Joseph Aloba, the singer’s father, has insisted that his grandson undergo a DNA test.
Days after Mohbad was buried, his body was dug up for an autopsy due to public outcry calling for an inquiry into his contentious passing.
Nevertheless, it is reported that the autopsy performed on the deceased singer’s body was unable to determine the reason of his demise.
Many people have been calling for his body to be buried after the unsuccessful autopsy.
In response, Mr. Aloba promised in a recent TVC interview that he would not allow his son’s body to be buried until his grandson Liam had undergone a DNA test to determine his genuine paternity.
Before the burial, “I have to do the DNA [on Mohbad’s son],” he declared.
“I also have my doubts about Mohbad’s son’s paternity. Occasionally, Mohbad’s wife will go away for three days without her husband’s permission.
Aloba responded, “When Mohbad was alive, we were friends,” in response to claims that he is attempting to inherit Mohbad’s holdings and is dressed in his attire. He would buy clothing for me as well if he bought them for himself.
I have not visited his home since his passing. I have never made a trip there. However, some people misunderstood, so they now claim that every shirt I wear is Mohbad’s anytime they see me wearing one. Does it mean it has to come from my son? I also own my own clothes.
