In a recent statement, Senator Sunday Karimi, who represents Kogi West Senatorial District, revealed that three individuals tragically lost their lives while trying to escape from a kidnappers’ hideout in Kogi State.
Senator Karimi urgently called upon the Kogi State Commissioner of Police and the Director of the Department of State Services (DSS) to address the concerning security situation in Isanlu, Yagba East Local Government Area. Expressing his distress over the escalating insecurity, the senator highlighted that six people had been kidnapped within a span of 48 hours.

He emphasized that the need for immediate action is crucial, as the safety of the community is at stake. Senator Karimi also acknowledged the efforts of the state governor in ensuring the protection of lives and properties in Kogi State, while urging the Police Commissioner and the DSS boss to take decisive measures to combat the rising wave of kidnappings in Isanlu.
