The FRSC, Osun Command, reported that a tragic accident took place on the Ikire–Ibadan Expressway on April 5, resulting in the loss of two lives.
Mrs. Medinat Akanbi, the Acting Sector Commander, shared this heartbreaking news on Saturday.
A Toyota commercial bus, bearing registration number DAH 77LG, tragically lost control due to high speed, causing the accident.
Among the passengers involved in the incident were 10 females and seven males who were inside the bus.
Fortunately, 15 passengers with severe injuries were rescued and promptly taken to undisclosed hospitals for medical attention.

Various items found at the accident scene were handed over to the Nigeria Police Force in Ikire.
Akanbi emphasized the importance of using good tires to prevent accidents and urged drivers to avoid speeding and adhere to the prescribed speed limits.
She also warned that the Command would take strict action against any road user who violates safety regulations on highways.
