On Friday, a commercial bus collided with a truck on the Lagos-Ibadan motorway, resulting in one fatality.
The event was verified by the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) to OBASANJO NEWS24 in Abeokuta, the capital of Ogun State.
According to Florence Okpe, the FRSC representative in Ogun, the incident happened approximately six o’clock in the evening following the Danco fueling station.

Three adults, all male, were involved in the crash, according to her.
Two people were evacuated from the accident unharmed, however one person perished in the collision.
While speeding, the Mazda commercial bus with licence plate LEM56XB collided with the truck.
“Dangerous driving and speeding are the suspected causes of the crash,” Okpe revealed.
The body was placed at the Idera mortuary in Sagamu, Ogun State, she continued.
