Renowned Nigerian singer Teniola Apata, better known by her stage as Teni, has taken aim at her countrymen for criticising Davido for a remark made by his younger sister.
Despite the fact that Teni and Davido were of the same age, Obasanjo News24 reports that Davido called Teni “my younger sister” during one of her trips to his home.

After that, a lot of internet users started dragging Davido.
In response to the news, Teni made it clear in an interview with the Zero Conditions podcast that she has no issues with Davido’s remark.
Teni hushed the critics up by comparing her driver, who is much older than her, to her driver and questioned the sensibilities of those who objected to the phrase.
“Those who criticise Davido are insane,” she declared. Davido, who assists me in writing a song, makes the music amazing.
