Former Nigerian Minister of Aviation Femi Fani Kayode has come under fire for his recent rants against Governor Alex Otti, according to Ferdinand Ekeoma, the governor of Abia State’s spokesman.
On Wednesday, Kayode took a shot at the state governor, accusing him of refusing to display the official photo of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the country’s new leader, in his office because he does not recognize the former governor of Lagos as the country’s leader.
Fani-Kayode’s assertion, according to Mr. Ekeoma, was nasty and unfounded, and the government is not shocked by the former minister’s cheap pettiness and lack of etiquette, according to a statement he released in the state capital of Umuahia.
According to him, “Unlike Fani-Kayode, who had displayed his well-known trademark of pettiness and lack of decorum when he repeatedly and vehemently insulted and blackmailed President Tinubu in the past, Governor Alex Otti does not act irrationally and thus could not have under any circumstances refused to recognize President Tinubu as the President of Nigeria, especially when he and the President enjoy a long-standing friendship.”
“Oti made sure that President Tinubu’s portrait was produced in large quantities and distributed to various government offices, and he also made sure that it was prominently displayed on the first page of his inauguration brochure.”
According to Ekeoma, the ex-minister’s terrible plan to use the governor’s name to get a job in Tinubu’s administration is doomed from the start because the President is aware of Mr. Fani-Kayode’s erratic personality.
The President is aware that Fani-Kayode is a volatile individual who is well-known for pouring hate and vitriol toward the defenseless in order to maintain his financial stability.
“The fact that Fani-Kayode, a former minister, has degraded to the point of using fake news and a serving governor on social media, demonstrates how wounded and lost he has become, which is why he needs to say a prayer on his bed.
Therefore, the Abia Governor’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity urged the general people to avoid the malicious claim and dismiss it as idle talk from a troublemaker who, in his opinion, wants to sow a seed of dissension and disaffection for personal political advantage.
