According to Gift Effiong Edem, a family planning specialist at Ikot Offiong Ambai Primary Health Centre in Cross River State’s Akpabuyo Local Government Area, women no longer become pregnant or give birth recklessly due to the weekly health tips on nursing and family planning.

She claimed that they use UNICEF’s awareness campaign on exclusive breastfeeding to educate local women on how to manage their homes and take care of their husbands, infants, and selves as well.

Family planning, in Mrs. Edem’s opinion, aids women in regulating their birth rate.

They do not deliver their babies irresponsibly. Because they don’t have as many kids, they and their husbands are really content. They appreciate our weekly health advice that we send them.
