Ifeoluwa Oladimeji Aloba, better known as Mohbad, was a late Nigerian singer. His family has verified that he passed away.
On Tuesday night, they published a statement on his official Instagram page.
The cause of Mohbad’s death was not made public, but his family pleaded for privacy at this trying time.
It stated: “We confirm the passing of Promise Oladimeji Aloba PK/A Mohbad (Imole) today, September 12, 2023, with deep sorrow.
“Mohbad was Light to the very end, and as we lament the loss of the brightness he carried, the family appreciates you for your love and prayers, and they kindly ask that you continue to respect their privacy at this trying time.
“Imole is at peace at last.”
Mohbad fell away yesterday at the age of 27, and there are conflicting online tales of his demise.
