Falz the Bhad Guy, also known as Folarin Falana, has divulged details about his association with songstress Simi.

In 2016, the joint EP “Chemistry” by Simi and Falz led to speculation about their romantic involvement as reported on Obasanjonews.com.

During a recent Hip TV interview, Falz expressed that their connection was merely based on sound.

Remembering his interaction with Simi, he reached out to her upon hearing the success of “Jamb Question,” and their musical synergy led to plans for additional collaborations.

In 2013 or 2014, I encountered Simi for the first time. After hearing “Jamb Question,” I immediately contacted her to inform her that I had composed a verse for the unrevealed remix we hadn’t yet discussed, he reminisced.

“After doing it, we shot the video and every subsequent track felt effortless. She’s like family to me and our musical chemistry was just perfect. We had no choice but to delve deeper into that relationship. It was a beautiful experience.”

Simi’s latest album, “Lost And Found” features a recently appearing Falz on the track titled “Borrow Me Your Baby.”

The rumors of Simi’s alleged affairs with Falz were put to rest when she married her secret lover, singer Adekunle Gold on January 9th, 2019.

Adejare was born to the couple in 2020, marking their first child’s arrival.
