Falz explains the situation, stating Bobrisky’s request for a VIP prison section was misunderstood, following accusations from VeryDarkMan.

Folarin Falana, better known by his stage name Falz, is a well-known Nigerian rapper and activist who claims that Bobrisky only reached out to him for financial support while he was incarcerated.

According to OBASANJONEWS, Bobrisky was arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and sentenced to three months in prison after admitting guilt to naira mutilation.

His release date was August 5, 2024.

In the now-controversial clip, Bobrisky stated that the EFCC dropped money laundering allegations against him while he was incarcerated thanks to the assistance of a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, SAN, and his son, Falz.

In response to the outcry that followed the disclosure, Falz denied speaking with Bobrisky while he was incarcerated through the representation of Falana & Falana’s Chambers.

According to him, the only reason the cross-dresser approached him was to ask for N3 million in order to pay certain authorities so they might be allowed to remain in the VIP area of the Correctional Center.

Falz also accused VeryDarkMan of carelessly releasing a statement on social media that included several accusations against him without getting in touch with him, in a letter that has gone viral.
