A man posing as a Sergeant Major in the military was apprehended by the Isheri-Osun Police Division in Nigeria.

The suspect, identified as Femi Balogun, was found wearing full military camouflage attire when he was arrested in Ijegun, a riverine community known for criminal activities such as pipeline vandalism.
The police, who were conducting a visibility patrol in the area, had been informed that Balogun was wanted by the Nigerian Army.
After interrogating him, it was confirmed that he was indeed an imposter.
The Police spokesman, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the arrest and stated that the suspect would face charges in court once the investigation is concluded.
