Faleke mobilises fans as Tinubu lands in Abuja Monday
James Faleke, the Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Finance and the former Secretary of the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council (APCPCC), has asked supporters of the ruling party to come out in large numbers on Monday to welcome President-elect Bola Tinubu in Abuja.
Obasanjonews24 says that Tinubu left the country on March 21 and went to France to rest and plan the handover programme before he takes office on May 29. Some critics said that his long stay in France was because of health reasons.
But Faleke, who has been talked about as Tinubu’s possible Chief of Staff, said in a short statement on Sunday that the President-elect would be welcomed in Abuja in a big way.
The politician from Kogi said that people from Nasarawa and the Federal Capital Territory would be able to take buses to meet the former governor of Lagos and his wife.
He said, “My dear brothers and sisters of this special family. Everyone in Abuja and Nasarawa is welcome to join us tomorrow at 2 p.m. at the Presidential part of the International Airport to welcome our People’s President and First Lady-Elect.
Departure Time:2pm
The Campaign Office is where the trip will start.
Time to get in: 12 p.m.
There will be buses.
For security reasons, the Airport will only let people in who have been approved.
