Faleke as his chief of staff, a group of stakeholders requested
All Progressives Congress (APC) members have urged Asiwaju Bola Tinubu to choose James Faleke, a member of the House of Representatives, as his chief of staff.
The Kogi State-born politician is still the finest candidate to work with Tinubu out of all those vying for the position, according to the party chieftains who met in Abuja on Saturday, April 7, 2023.
In a statement she gave to reporters, Mrs. Bimbo Adedoyin Okpere, the President of the North Central Women for Tinubu, listed a number of factors that distinguished Faleke from the competition for the coveted position.
“We are urging Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, our great leader and the next president, to choose Hon. James Abiodun Faleke as his chief of staff when he takes office. He continues to be the best candidate for the position, according to all indicators and our conclusions,” the statement says in part.
Hon. Bimbo, speaking on behalf of the Stakeholders, claimed that Tinubu doesn’t need to be introduced to Faleke, therefore his appointment will guarantee a smooth transition of power.
By founding The Tinubu Support Group, Faleke was one of the first APC members to bring Tinubu into the presidential campaign, according to the stakeholders’ group (TSG).
“Faleke was a key figure in the creation of TSG, and as the group’s chairman, he assisted in mobilising the necessary popular support for Tinubu’s presidential campaign.
The organisation added that Faleke afterwards became the Secretary of the Presidential Campaign Council, serving as an excellent coordinator to assure Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s victory in the general election of 2023.
Moreover, they (the organisation) claimed that Faleke’s nomination would boost Americans’ faith in the new administration among Christians.
The organisation said, “We are also supporting him due to his demonstrated track record of public service performance over the previous 24 years, which is known to all and verifiable.
According to Bimbo, Faleke’s nomination will also be a deserving recompense for the commitment he has shown to Tinubu over the years as a deserving apprentice.
Hon. Mrs. Bimbo Adedoyin Okpere, the president of North Central Women for Tinubu, and other attendees were in the front row of the meeting to support the nomination of Hon. Faleke.
