Muhammad Ibrahim, a 19-year-old resident of Sabon Layi, Kano Road, Bauchi, has been detained by Operatives of the Bauchi State Police Command’s Operations Restore Peace, ORP, for the alleged murder of his Facebook lover, Emmanuella Ande.
Ibrahim is claimed to have stabbed Ande in the upper chest at the Happiness Garden Hotel in Bayan Gari on December 18, the terrible incident.

Ahmed Wakil, the command’s spokeswoman, said that because of the victim’s pleas, people tried to save her by forcing open the door.

Ahmed Wakil, the command’s spokeswoman, said that because of the victim’s pleas, people tried to save her by forcing open the door.
According to Wakil, the accused was quickly freed by the ORP team once they received the complaint, and the victim was pronounced dead at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Teaching Hospital (ATBUTH) in Bauchi.
“While Ibrahim is presently being investigated, Zaharaddeen received treatment at the police clinic and was later released.
One knife was found among the suspect’s belongings. The statement said that an investigation is underway and that the suspect will face charges in court following that.
