FAAN has responded to a widely circulated video that shows an official from the Nigerian Immigration Service soliciting money from a passenger at the airport.
On Wednesday, Mrs Olubunmi Kuku issued a statement condemning the intolerable conduct. She serves as the Managing Director and Chief Executive of FAAN.
According to Obasanjonews.com, a certain Immigration Service officer whose identity remains unknown was captured on video repeatedly pleading with a visitor for cash at the International Airport and demonstrated willingness to accept payment by card.
Public opinion suggests that the conduct of the immigration officer underscores a profound erosion of Nigeria’s principles.
