After pushing an aid referee during Sunday’s 7-0 thrashing against Liverpool, the Football Association, or FA, decided not to discipline Bruno Fernandes of Manchester United.
During the second half of the game, Fernandes was spotted shoving an assistance referee.
As United let up six goals at Anfield in the second half, tempers started to flare.
The Portuguese midfielder was not disciplined by the officials, but the FA has the authority to impose retaliatory sanctions for on-field violence.
But, according to the Daily Mail, the FA has ruled that no action would be taken in relation to the push, therefore Fernandes is not being held accountable.
