The 2024 Appropriations Act bill would be treated with the utmost care, according to Philip Agbese, the deputy spokesperson for the House of Representatives, who gave the Nigerian people the assurance.

After the launch of the House Standing Committee on Appropriations on Thursday in Abuja, Agbese provided the assurance.

According to OBASANJO NEWS24, the committee is in charge of reviewing appropriation bills to control how much money is spent according to the Federal Government’s budget. It is led by Hon. Bichi Kabir Abubakar.

Announcing that the committee’s job goes beyond budget appropriation, he also pledged that the Bichi-led group would closely oversee implementation by all Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs).

“The House Appropriations Committee has officially begun its work and is well-positioned to succeed. The best should be anticipated by Nigerians.
