European journey brings both success and challenges for Super Eagles stars
Alex Iwobi and Calvin Bassey showcased exceptional performances for Fulham in their recent match against Liverpool, despite suffering a 3-1 defeat at Craven Cottage. Fulham currently sits in 12th place with 42 points, comfortably avoiding relegation.
Iwobi scored his fifth goal of the season in his 26th English Premier League appearance, while Bassey made his 25th appearance and also found the back of the net.
Ola Aina played the full 90 minutes for Nottingham Forest in their 2-0 loss to Everton at Goodison Park. Nottingham Forest is currently in 17th place with 26 points from 34 games, still in danger of relegation.

Despite Dortmund’s Niclas Fullkrug scoring in the 81st minute, Josip Stanisic equalized in the eighth minute of added time, extending Bayer Leverkusen’s unbeaten run to 45 games.
Tella received a yellow card in the 28th minute, while Boniface had a red card overturned by the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) in the 88th minute.
Akor Adams featured for 88 minutes in Montpellier’s 2-1 victory over Reims in France but was unable to end his goal drought.
Montpellier currently occupies the 12th position with 36 points, and Adams has scored seven goals in 28 games.
