European Cup: Boniface issues warning to his Leverkusen colleagues Molde will be challenging to defeat

When playing the Norwegian club Molde, Bayer Leverkusen colleagues have been warned by Victor Boniface to give it all they’ve got.

For their second Europa League match of the day, Bayer Leverkusen will travel to Molde on Thursday.

Due to his frequent encounters with Erling Moe’s side while travelling with Bodo/Glimt throughout Norway, Boniface has a thorough understanding of their position.

Against the tiny team, the 22-year-old anticipates a challenging encounter.

According to Boniface, Molde is a top-tier squad in the Norwegian league and consistently contends for the championship.

Molde was the defending champion when I joined Bod/Glim in 2019, and the following two years, when we won the league, Molde was our primary rival as runners-up.

We cannot afford to undervalue them simply because they are at home.

With six goals, Boniface shared the league’s scoring lead in the UEFA Europa League last year.
