Atalanta winger, Ademola Lookman, is thrilled after playing a key role in securing the club’s spot in the UEFA Europa League final.

Gian Piero Gasperini’s team triumphed over Olympic Marseille with a 3-0 victory in the second leg of the semi-final at the Gewiss Stadium in Bergamo on Thursday evening.

La Dea emerged victorious with a 4-1 aggregate scoreline in the two-legged tie.

Lookman not only scored a goal but also provided an assist during the match.

This marks the first time Atalanta has reached the final of a European competition.

“We’ve made history. The team put on an incredible performance. Heading to Dublin for the final makes me extremely happy,” Lookman expressed to UEFA’s official website.

The Serie A side is set to clash against Bundesliga champions, Bayer Leverkusen, in the final scheduled for Wednesday, May 22 in Dublin.
