Ademola Lookman showcased his talent by scoring an impressive hat-trick in the Europa League final, leading Atalanta to a 3-0 victory over Bayer Leverkusen.
This triumph marked just the second major trophy in Atalanta’s 117-year history, ending the remarkable unbeaten streak of the German champions.
Lookman’s journey from struggling in the English Premier League to becoming a key player in Italy under coach Gian Piero Gasperini was highlighted as he scored two goals within the first 26 minutes and secured the win 15 minutes before the final whistle.

The victory not only secured a major trophy for Gasperini but also showcased Atalanta’s dominance over Xabi Alonso’s Leverkusen side, who had been undefeated for 51 games.
Just like in their previous matches against Liverpool and Olympique de Marseille, Atalanta displayed a strong performance, leaving no room for their opponents to make a comeback.
Leverkusen’s shaky start to the game allowed Atalanta to capitalize on their mistakes, with Lookman taking advantage of the defensive lapses to score the opening goal and set the tone for the match.
