Ademola Lookman, the Nigerian winger, has been named the UEFA Europa League Player of the Week. Lookman showcased his skills during Atalanta’s impressive 3-0 victory over Olympic Marseille on Thursday.
This is the first time he has received this award in the current season.
In the match held at the Gewiss Stadium in Bergamo, the 29-year-old contributed with one goal and one assist.
His outstanding performance earned him the highest number of votes, surpassing AS Roma goalkeeper, Mile Svilar.

Lookman has been a key player for Atalanta this season, with a total of 20 goal involvements across all competitions.
He has scored 12 goals and provided eight assists.
Atalanta will now face Bayer Leverkusen, the newly crowned Bundesliga champions, in the final.
