The Golden Boot award for joint top scorer in the UEFA Europa League previous season went to Victor Boniface, a forward for Nigeria.
The forward for Manchester United, Marcus Rashford, and Boniface shared the award.
In Europe’s second-tier club tournament the previous season, the pair scored six goals.

Prior to Bayer Leverkusen’s Thursday night home matchup versus Qarabag at the BayArena, the 22-year-old was given the trophy.
In the summer, Boniface moved from Union St Gilloise, a Belgian Pro League team, to Leverkusen as a result of his outstanding play.
In just three games this season for Die Werkself, the Nigerian striker has already recorded two goals and an assist.
