Captain of the Netherlands Virgil van Dijk has identified the two formidable squads who have a chance to win Euro 2024 this summer.
After Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund square off in the UEFA Champions League final at Wembley on Saturday, June 1, the 2023–24 season will come to a conclusion.
Much of the attention will shift to the upcoming Euro 2024 in Germany in the summer following the Champions League final.

Van Dijk identified France and England as two strong sides going into Euro 2024 in an interview with Sky Sports.
Van Dijk remarked, “England has a very, very good [strong] team and squad, but so many other teams do too.”
“France has great strength. It’s going to be fascinating. I am excited about it.
