Euro 2024: Rio Ferdinand identifies three players who have potential to assist England in winning trophy

Rio Ferdinand, a former Manchester United defender, believes that if manager Gareth Southgate starts three players in the starting lineup, England can win Euro 2024.

The Three Lions and Slovenia drew 0-0 on Tuesday to advance to the Round of 16.

However, following three lacklustre group stage outings, the team has received a lot of criticism.

As a pundit for the BBC during the tournament, Ferdinand feels Southgate should have more faith in the younger players.

Against Slovenia in the second half, Kobbie Mainoo, Cole Palmer, and Anthony Gordon all came off the bench.
