Estate Agent Charged with Alleged N430,000 Fraud
Johnbosco Dauda, a 52-year-old estate agent, was charged with N430,000 worth of fraud on Wednesday at a Grade “A” Customary Court in Ibadan.
Dauda is accused of stealing and getting money under false pretences; her address was withheld.
The defendant committed the act on May 6 in the Sango neighbourhood of Ibadan, according to the prosecutor, Mr. Philip Amusan, who testified in court.

According to Amusan, Dauda obtained the money from Ifeanyi Nnabuike, the complainant, under the guise of renting him a three-bedroom flat.
According to the prosecutor, the defendant used the money for his own purposes.
He said that the offences were under Oyo, 2000’s Criminal Laws, Sections 419 and 399(9).
The offender was granted bail in the amount of N300,000 with two sureties in an equivalent amount by the court president, Mrs. Sukurat Yusuf.
She postponed the case’s hearing until July 3.
