Erisco Foods will file N5 billion lawsuit against Egoji on his unfavourable product reviews
Erisco Foods’ president, Eric Umeofia, claims that the business is suing Chioma Egoji over her comments on Facebook regarding the company’s product.
In a recent interview with Arise Television, Umeofia made this revelation.
He claims that Egoji was dispatched to damage Erisco Foods’ reputation.
He acknowledged that Egoji had sent the Police a letter of apologies over the review.
However, Umeofia warned Egoji that if he didn’t publicly apologise, they would sue for N5 billion in damages.
If she makes a deal with the Nigerian Police, he said, “I’ll sue her; what about the harm she’s done me?
According to OBASANJO NEWS24, on September 17, 2023, Egoji published a “negative” review of Erisco Tomato Paste, which sparked debate online.
Eriscos Food requested her arrest because she had written a defamatory review of one of its products.
Erisco Foods was released, nonetheless, thanks to the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC).
