Equatorial Guinea Govt Official Arrested for Allegedly Recording 400+ S3xtapes Involving Wives, Sisters of Influential Figures
A government official in Equatorial Guinea has been arrested for allegedly recording over 400 sextapes with the wives and sisters of notable individuals. The scandal has sparked outrage and raised questions about privacy and abuse of power.
The Director General of the National Financial Investigation Agency in Equatorial Guinea has been arrested for allegedly creating over 400 sextapes involving the wives of prominent individuals in the country.
During a fraud investigation involving the 54-year-old economist, it was revealed that ANIF officials conducted unexpected searches of his house and office. They discovered several CDs documenting his affairs with various married women.
The videos allegedly feature interactions with prominent individuals, such as his brother’s wife, his cousin, the sister of the President of Equatorial Guinea, the Director General of Police’s spouse, and approximately 20 wives of ministers from across the country.
The footage, found in his personal office, was reportedly recorded with consent and has subsequently leaked online, sparking a media uproar.
According to a report from the local media outlet Ahora EG, Engonga has been embroiled in an unprecedented sexual scandal in Equatorial Guinea since last October.
The ex-Director General of ANIF, commonly known as “Bello,” engaged in sexual relationships with multiple women, including some who were married, and recorded these private moments.
The report stated, “One of the most notable aspects is that certain scenes occurred in his office at work, featuring moments where he appears sleeping with a woman next to the National Flag. In response to this sexual scandal, the Executive announced that their actions are directly aimed at addressing events that have tarnished the country’s image.”
The Government aims to set a clear example for the expected behavior of public officials through these new measures, with the goal of fostering a more respectful work environment in both public and private sectors within Equatorial Guinea’s administration. Recently, social media has been abuzz with erotic videos involving Baltasar EBANG ENGONGA, also known as “Bello,” who serves as the Director General of the National Financial Investigation Agency (ANIF) and is currently detained on alleged corruption charges.
Baltasar EBANG ENGONGA reportedly recorded these scenes with the women’s permission, absolving him from potential charges of violating personal integrity. In the videos, he is depicted engaging in unprotected sexual activities with multiple women, including those married to influential and prominent figures in the country as well as some of Equatorial Guinea’s most “diva and influential” single women. The footage captures various locations such as hotel rooms, residences, and even his office at the Ministry of Finance,” it added.
Addressing the viral sextapes, the country’s Attorney General, Nzang Nguema, emphasized that while the images imply voluntary participation by the women involved, consensual sexual activity is not deemed a crime under law unless it involves coercion or violence. This underscores how crucial it is for victims to report instances of sexual abuse or assault.
Nguema stressed that the risk extends beyond just the women involved to their partners and the wider community as well. He added, “The potential for a contagious disease to spread through these sexual interactions makes the situation even more critical.”
He also emphasized that it is the responsibility of victims to report cases of rape or assault, stressing the importance of creating an environment where individuals feel safe and supported in coming forward.
In response to Monday’s developments, Equatorial Guinea has announced that it will take immediate action by suspending all officials who have engaged in sexual relations within the offices of the country’s ministries.
The government stated that the decision was in line with its “zero tolerance” policy regarding actions that undermine the integrity of public service.
Nguema Mangue, the Vice President of the Republic, has highlighted that these actions represent a clear violation of both the Code of Conduct and the Public Ethics Law.
In his publication on X, he stressed that “ethics and respect are fundamental in our Administration,” adding that any irresponsible behavior endangering citizen trust will not be tolerated.
