EPL: Todd Boehly is instructed to substitute Jose Mourinho for Graham Potter
According to well-known British broadcaster Richard Keys, Chelsea manager Graham Potter has failed badly and needs to be fired right now by the club’s owner, Todd Boehly.
Keys also suggested Jose Mourinho as the best candidate to succeed the outgoing Brighton manager at Chelsea Bridge.
The Blues have been losing games they should routinely win, including their 1-0 Premier League loss to Southampton on Saturday.
They have won just two of their last 14 games across all competitions, keeping them in tenth place and 10 points behind fourth-place Newcastle United.
Keys urged Boehly to fire the Brit right away and bring in former Blues manager Mourinho to turn the team around since he thought he had “failed badly.”
Jose Mourinho, a former Chelsea manager, is very well liked by the audience, according to Keys, who spoke to beIN SPORTS.
He is the most prosperous employee the club has ever had.
Keys firmly asserted: “That has to change since the experiment with Graham Potter failed spectacularly. Boehly needs a way out of trouble, and Jose Mourinho is that card.
The most well-liked hire Boehly could make right now would be Mourinho, who would buy him time for his vision.
