Jorginho’s decision to leave Chelsea for Arsenal has been bemoaned by Chelsea defender Thiago Silva.
Jorginho agreed to terms with the Premier League’s top club on the final day of the transfer window.
The Italian midfielder was praised by Silva as one of the “great leaders” in the Stamford Bridge locker room, and Silva acknowledged that the midfielder had joined “a direct rival.”
He declared, “We have lost one of our great leaders in the locker room, Jorginho, a man who spoke a lot.” This void will persist, but we must move on. He left, which wasn’t what we expected. It’s time to compensate as much as possible for his absence at this point.
(Jorginho) moved on to a competitor and a rival. Football is a sport where things do happen. Given how close his family is, he would like to remain in England. We must also comprehend the player’s perspective because these are factors over which we have no influence.
