Southampton, a Premier League team, fired manager Nathan Jones on Sunday.
Chris Cohen and Alan Sheeha, the first team coaches for Southampton, were also fired.
However, the English team revealed that Southampton’s next Premier League match against Chelsea would be under the direction of First Team Lead Coach Rubén Sellés.
Southampton made this known in a website-based statement.
Less than a day after their 2-1 loss to Wolves on Saturday, Jones was fired.
The announcement said, “Southampton Football Club can confirm that Men’s First Team Manager Nathan Jones has left the organisation.
Chris Cohen and Alan Sheehan, the first team coaches, have also left the organisation.
“First Club Lead Coach Rubén Sellés will oversee practise and get the team ready for the match against Chelsea next Saturday.”
