EPL: Pathetic, I despise it – Ben Foster criticises Arteta’s move choice

Mikel Arteta, manager of Arsenal, has come under fire from former Premier League custodian Ben Foster, who called the Spaniard “pathetic.”

Foster is baffled by Arteta’s plan to bring in David Raya as a goaltender in order to compete with Aaron Ramsdale for the starting job at the Gunners.

Raya’s entry has raised questions about Ramsdale’s top ranking.

Former Brentford starter Raya signed a season-long loan with Arsenal.

Foster told his YouTube channel, “That’s not how to do things.”

“I detest it; it’s pitiful. Right, it’s something that wasn’t necessary to happen. David Raya was not necessary for them to sign.
