When the current season comes to an end, Klopp is expected to depart Anfield.
After nine years with the club, the 56-year-old claims he is “running out of energy.”
According to reports, the Reds started looking for Klopp’s replacement even before he made his departure officially known.
Since Klopp formally notified the club in November, they have communicated with multiple agencies.
Given his excellent performance at Bayer Leverkusen, Xabi Alonso is the clear choice to accept the position.
However, Liverpool’s highest executives also hold admiration for Brentford manager Thomas Frank.
Throughout his three seasons in the English Premier League with the Bees, Frank has made an impression. His high-pressing, high-energy style is thought to be comparable to Klopp’s tactics at Liverpool.
Like Klopp, Frank is renowned for having a boisterous demeanour both on the touchline and during press conferences.
