Reactions to parallels between the Inter Miami sensation and Diallo were evident.

The 21-year-old’s technical skill has garnered praise from many, as the deft young player can confuse colleagues during practice.
However, Amad is anxious to disassociate himself with one of the all-time great players.
The official United website quoted him as saying: “I know they said this [that I was like Lionel Messi in training], but nobody plays like Messi.”
“I’m glad that González thinks I play like Messi, but I think that nobody plays like Messi!” They claim my football is more like Messi since I was similar to him in training, dribbling and scoring occasionally, but I think no one can play like Messi these days.
