EPL: Man Utd winger responds to comparisons with Messi, highlighting his unique playing style

However, Amad is anxious to disassociate himself with one of the all-time great players.

The official United website quoted him as saying: “I know they said this [that I was like Lionel Messi in training], but nobody plays like Messi.”

“I’m glad that González thinks I play like Messi, but I think that nobody plays like Messi!” They claim my football is more like Messi since I was similar to him in training, dribbling and scoring occasionally, but I think no one can play like Messi these days.
