EPL: Man Utd urged to fire Ten Hag without delay

Former Liverpool player Danny Murphy has recommended that Manchester United fire manager Erik ten Hag right now in the wake of their embarrassing 3-0 Premier League loss to Bournemouth this past weekend.

Murphy thinks it’s unfortunate, but Man United needs to let go of Ten Hag because he felt the Red Devils position came too soon.

Remember that Ten Hag was at Old Trafford on Saturday to witness Bournemouth demolish Man United?

Ten Hag’s team is presently sixth in the Premier League standings after their most recent victory over Bournemouth.

“The midweek triumph against Chelsea covered up the fissures. Chelsea repeatedly outplayed them, Murphy told the Daily Mail.

“Bournemouth had three points, but there was a chance for four. This outcome merely served as more evidence that United is having problems.

“United does not want to be in a situation where they lose by five goals when they visit Anfield. That was back in March, and they lost by seven. A similar surrender can result in a shift.

“I always assumed that United would give Ten Hag till the end of the current campaign, but a change in leadership is definitely necessary right now in order to allow the new manager time to figure out what needs to be done if they want to get to where they want to be.

“It’s unfortunate because Ten Hag seems like a nice guy, but it seems like he accepted the United position a little too soon.”
