Manchester City showcased their dominance in a commanding manner as Kevin de Bruyne played a pivotal role in three goals during their triumph over Crystal Palace.

The game kicked off with Palace surprising City by taking the lead early on through Jean-Philippe Mateta, but De Bruyne’s exceptional finish brought City back on level terms in the first half.

Mateta capitalized on a pass from Adam Wharton to find the back of the net in the third minute, igniting the crowd at Selhurst Park with his goal.

However, De Bruyne responded brilliantly with a curling strike just 10 minutes later, showcasing his skill and composure under pressure.

Despite Palace’s attacking threat, City remained composed and clinical in the second half, with Rico Lewis and Erling Haaland finding the back of the net to secure the victory.

De Bruyne’s assist for Haaland and his own milestone goal further solidified City’s dominance, while a late consolation goal from Odsonne Edouard was not enough to derail City’s title aspirations.

This win was crucial for Pep Guardiola’s side in the intense title race, as they drew level on points with Liverpool at the top of the table, setting the stage for an exciting battle for the championship.
