Despite a goalless draw between Manchester City and Liverpool in their latest encounter, Jurgen Klopp’s team has managed to secure a two-point lead at the summit of the standings.
The reigning champions, Manchester City, currently sit in third place, trailing Liverpool by three points in the title race.
Through 10,000 simulations of the remaining fixtures, Opta’s supercomputer now projects Liverpool to have a 47.7% probability of winning the league, marking a significant increase of 12.4% after their triumph over Brighton.
Meanwhile, Manchester City’s chances have dwindled to 33.5% as they slipped to second favorites following their draw with Arsenal.
Arsenal, on the other hand, maintain an 18.8% likelihood of securing their first league title since 2004, a statistic that remained unchanged after their stalemate with City.
