In an interview with the media prior to England’s international friendly match against Brazil, Manchester United midfielder Kobbie Mainoo expressed his admiration for former players Wayne Rooney, Paul Scholes, and Eric Cantona.

Despite being a bit before his time, Mainoo stated that he loved watching these players and still appreciates their contributions to the club.
Additionally, Mainoo revealed that he has always dreamed of representing the England national team, a common aspiration for many young footballers.
However, he emphasized that during his youth, he focused on taking each game as it came, rather than getting ahead of himself.
As Mainoo prepares for the match against Brazil, he will be hoping to earn his first cap for the England team.
