EPL: Jason Cundy praises Chelsea star after 2-2 draw
Jason Cundy, the former Chelsea star, has expressed his admiration for winger Chinonso ‘Noni’ Madueke after his impressive performance in the first half of Chelsea’s 2-2 draw against Sheffield United in a Premier League match on Sunday.
Despite their visit to Bramall Lane, Chelsea couldn’t secure all three points at Stamford Bridge. Mauricio Pochettino included Madueke in the starting lineup for the fifth time this season, and the young winger delivered by scoring a stunning goal against the Blades.
However, Madueke’s goal alone wasn’t sufficient to secure a victory for Chelsea, as Sheffield United equalized in the dying minutes of the game through Oliver McBurnie.
In the aftermath of the match, Jason Cundy expressed his disappointment with Chelsea’s overall performance, describing it as slow and labored.

He emphasized the need for someone on the pitch to take responsibility and ignite a collective spark within the team. Cundy singled out Noni Madueke as the only player who showed potential to make something happen during the game.
His comments highlight the lack of a collective spark and the need for more players to step up and contribute to the team’s success.
