The departure of Bruno Saltor as first-team coach has been addressed by Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino.
As a member of Graham Potter’s coaching team, Saltor came to Stamford Bridge.
When Potter was fired after only 31 games in charge, he served as Chelsea’s interim manager.
After reaching a mutual decision with the Premier League team to end the final two years of his contract, Saltor has since left the Blues.
Regarding the Spaniard’s departure, Pochettino stated, “It was a choice between the club and Bruno.
“It’s the best choice for him and the club,” I said. “He didn’t belong to my coaching staff.”
