Due to Armando Broja’s lack of playing time, former Chelsea defender Glen Johnson has counselled Mauricio Pochettino not to permit the player to depart permanently.
Johnson stated that Broja ought to be permitted to leave on a loan.
Under Pochettino, Broja has had difficulty obtaining consistent playing time this year.
Only six appearances and one goal have been made by the 22-year-old since he recovered from an anterior cruciate ligament injury.
According to reports, Chelsea’s rivals Fulham are interested in signing Broja.
Regarding Broja’s status at Chelsea under Pochettino, Johnson told GGRecon: “I’d only allow him to leave on loan because he’s still young, unless they [Chelsea] receive an offer that they could not say no to.”
“If he goes on loan, Chelsea will still have the option to bring him back and he can score some goals and get more experience.”
