EPL: David Silva selects only club to defeat Man City and win the championship

Only Arsenal, according to former Spain midfielder David Silva, can contend with Manchester City for the Premier League championship this year.

The Gunners were in first place for the majority of previous season but a disastrous finish caused them to finish fifth, five points behind City.

While Newcastle United won the final Champions League slot, Manchester United came in third.

With four victories from four games, City presently leads Arsenal (10 points), United (6 points), and Arsenal (10 points).

“The only side I can see that might have a chance to challenge City is Arsenal. What’s left? They can’t, in my opinion.

Silva told the UK Mirror, “I watched almost all of City’s matches in the Champions League last season. I couldn’t win it when I was there, but I’m really glad for the club that they were eventually able to do it.
